The Photovoltaic System aims at generating electricity to feed several types of consumers and reduces the energy bill provided by the local concessionary. Easily adapts to the architecture and any space provided when there is light, such as walls, facades, floors and roofs of buildings and homes.

With the use of solar energy, the less dependence will be on its energy using it only to supply part of its consumption.
The ideal is to install the solar panels in the roofs to be able to use the best slope for each geographic region, which allows to orient the panels to the north, providing the best use for all day.


How Does The System Work?

 

After installing the photovoltaic system all the energy of the sun will be transformed into electrical energy by the solar modules and through the inverter will be injected into the electricity grid of the consumer.

At dusk the utility energy is used and at the end of the month it is accounted for – how much was generated and how much was consumed – that is, if the consumption is equal to the generation your account is zeroed, only the cost of the minimum tariff will be charged according to the rules of the concessionaire. If the consumption is greater than the generation, the difference will be paid and if the consumption is smaller, a credit of the surplus generation is received.

Do I need to change my energy watch?

 

According to ANEEL – Nation Electrical Energy Agency, the concessionaires, besides changing the clocks to the most suitable to be used next to the system, will not charge for the service as well as for the cost.

The digital clock reads how much the system is generating and how much power the dealer used if needed.

How to make the equipment maintenance?

Usually the rain cleans the plates, keeping them clean, but the proper procedure is to observe if any object or plant is causing shadows and if there is dirt accumulated in the plates, which disrupts the efficiency of the system, therefore cleaning the same of from time to time is ideal, ensuring its good performance.

As for the inverter, the charge controller and the battery bank, it is necessary to install them in a very well-ventilated place, without humidity, protected from bad weather, guaranteeing a long useful life to the equipment and greater yield, having no additional cost for its maintenance.

How the installation is performed?

The modules are connected according to their working voltage (12 /24 / 48V DC systems).
Maximum care is required when connecting to the battery bank generally because of its large current capacity.

After making the connections, from the cables to the inverter that will convert the direct current (DC) to AC, all the energy generated by the solar modules, will come to the charge of the batteries and / or use of the consumers destined to the system.
The battery bank must have its connection according to the voltage of the system used and its sizing is who will define its autonomy.

What happens when the energy from the concessionary ends?

The system stops working.

For safety measures, the inverter disconnects automatically, avoiding accidents with those responsible for the maintenance of poles and power boxes.

It is important to remember that there is no energy storage.

Am I paid for the excess of generation produced?

No. When the generation is higher than the one consumed in the month, the positive balance can be used to reduce local consumption or another that is in your NIN, otherwise the balance will be written down next month, that is, if you have a generation below consumption, the local utility uses the balance of the previous month to reduce this excess consumption.

The energy credits generated are valid for 60 months.
